Celebration of Life & Memorials

“Working together we can create something truly memorable to deliver a final farewell like no other”

Memorials and Celebration of Life Services are ceremonies that can happen at any time, but most likely after a direct cremation where your loved one has chosen not to have a traditional funeral service.

They are often the choice for family that feel they you would still like to say a final goodbye, whilst continuing to honour the decisions of their loved one.

These ceremonies focus on the joy and fun your loved one bought into the world, the impact they had on the people around them and they celebrate the fact they lived.

It is a time to gather and share stories of your loved one together, to celebrate their accomplishments and give thanks for a life well lived.

“There is no one like anyone else ever, and for that we should be celebrated”

As your chosen celebrant, me and my team will help create this ceremony for you. I can also help you to choose the location for this celebration should you wish.

They often take place in a relaxed setting such as a golf club, hotel, rugby club, village hall or even a local pub function room. It could also be outside in a garden or even at your own home or indeed abroad.

It can feature uplighting to match any chosen theme or colour scheme alongside food, drink and music of your own choosing whether live musicians, pre-recorded songs or indeed a mixture of both.

You have the freedom and flexibility to make it as personal as it can be, and I can support you in whatever your wishes are.

Below are a few things that I can offer as your chosen Celebrant –

  • The writing of the service script along with any eulogy or tribute
  • Supplying pre-recorded music of your choosing
  • A Full Professional P.A. System (suitable for 20 – 500 people plus)
  • Wireless microphones and stands for speeches or even live musicians
  • Photographic Visual Tribute slideshows set to music of your own choosing
  • Live webcasting or professional recording of the ceremony
  • The lighting of a candle in memory of your loved one
  • Professional uplighting for your selected venue to work with your chosen colour scheme, making your celebration even more personal

“Many stars continue to shine long after they have gone”

You can have your loved one’s ashes, their photograph or other personal items as a focal point within the ceremony.

You have total flexibility in choosing a date so that if you have friends or family travelling from afar, it’s easier for everyone who wants to be there to attend.

It also means you don’t have to rush anything – you can take the time you need to decide exactly what you would like the ceremony to involve.

Alternatively, you could choose a significant date or even anniversary for your ceremony.
